Another Reason Why You Should Never Pick Your Nose in Public

We invited our single neighbor over for Thanksgiving dinner, but she called us that morning and said she couldn't come because she has a staff infection. She said that the doctor told her that there is quite an out break right now. It is the kind that is resistant to anti-biotics. She had a sore not long ago, and the doctor thought it might be staff, and now she has a second one, so they started treating her for staff infection Thanksgiving morning. She said that the doctor told her that you get it from touching your face after coming in contact with the germ. In particular, if you touch your nose you get it easily. In fact, the treatment they are giving her is one that is an ointment that is applied to the nostrils.

So, next time you are tempted to pick your nose in public, remember to use anti-bacterial cleansing lotion first! ;)

When I worked at the temple, they would tell us to not touch our eyes, nose, mouth or even ears until we had washed our hands. When you're around a place that has that many people, you can pick up a germ from even a stair railing. We washed our hands or used germ killing gel about every hour while working there.
