Laugh of the Week

Well, I got one good belly laugh out of one of my students this week. I divided the class in to three groups and gave them an assignment to study some verses, then write on the chalkboard what they learned. Luckily, we meet in a room that has several chalkboards, so each group could have it's own. I went to each chalkboard and wrote the verses that I wanted them to study. When I got to the last chalkboard, I noticed there was a piece of chalk laying on the chalk tray already, so I picked it up to write, only to find out it was a yellow piece of a "veggie straw" that had been left there the night before when a group with children were meeting in that room. One of my students almost couldn't stop laughing. :D
