Changed in the Twinkling of an Eye

We were studying in seminary about the act of being translated, such as with the account of Elijah the Prophet in the Old Testament. The Book of Mormon teaches that a change comes to the person's body so that they will be able to continue to live on the Earth. John the Beloved was another who was "translated". The Doctrine and Covenants refers to it as being "changed in the twinkling of an eye".

I think I understand how this happens. Every morning when I get up for seminary at 5:30, I look as if my entire face is drooping to my chest. I have lines in my face that I never see during the day. I look like the person Dr. Frankenstein would have created. I'm not even sure when the "change" happens, but suddenly I look in the mirror and recognize myself again.

My big concern now is that when I die, because of lack of facial muscles, my face is going to go all droopy in the casket. Maybe I should wear a name tag in case no one recognizes me....

I'm hoping that one of these days I'll change and there'll instantly be 40 lbs. less. I'm still waiting. :)
