Fooled Ya Once

One of my seminary students wrote on Facebook that he needed some ideas of pranks he could play on his family for April Fool's Day. I wrote him a message telling him some things we have done in the past. I also asked him to let me know if he thought of anything good that I could do for my family. Neither one of us came up with anything I don't think. But I did do a couple of pranks.

The first one I did in seminary. I should preface this by telling you that next week is spring break. When we don't have school, we don't have seminary. After my lesson in seminary yesterday, I said to the kids, "Oh, I meant to tell you. I've been thinking about something, but I haven't talked to the other teacher about this yet. I was thinking about how this weekend is Easter, and I would really like you to keep the spirit of Easter with you throughout the coming week, so I think we should have seminary next week." They all just stared at me. lol Then of course my son, (of course he had to be the one kid to say it lol) said, "You guys can come if you want, but I'm not." Some of the kids started to protest, and a few rolled their eyes. then I blurted out, "April fool's!" I specifically looked at the student who had asked me about pranks, because he was one that rolled his eyes. lol

If you want to see the second prank, you have to log on to Inklings blog. :D Some time back she asked me to help her with something on her blog, and gave me her password. I kept the email just for emergency sake, but couldn't resist using it for April fools day. :)
