Defeat for California Voters: Governor Upholds Harvey Milk Day

I am really upset that our Governor signed legislation to have a day set aside in our schools to recognize gay activist Harvey Milk, AND another bill that recognizes gay marriages performed out of State! In my opinion, the pushing of the gay agenda here in California is proof that there is no more "of the people, by the people, for the people". The people have already spoken, but the Governor thinks that his wishes, and the agenda of a small percentage of the population are more important than the will of the people. The Governor has basically thumbed his nose at the voters who clearly showed that they didn't want the gay agenda supported in this state. Now I'm wondering to whom he is pandering. Is he thinking of running on a democratic ticket for some other position? Is he worried Hollywood won't hire him for any more pictures if he doesn't appease the gays? I really wish I could leave California. I'm tired of having debauchery shoved down my throat.

Yes, leave California. Move here. :0)

Inklings, it is something seriously to consider. Another year or so and I should formally be an empty nester with no ties to keep me here.

There is also a group of Sunday School children to consider ... Did Lot and his wife move to Sodom and Gomorrah to teach Sunday School?

You know Looney, if I could sell my house, and my husband could get another job, I would seriously consider it. His ideal job would be in China though, not Utah. ;)

I am touched with the vision and the strong sense of the responsibilities.
