Stinson Beach

My husband and I took a picnic lunch and went to Stinson beach today. Believe it or not, our kids didn't want to go. But I really wanted to go, so we went without them. Later I wished I had made them come with us. The weather was perfect! It actually got hot there! The day was really clear, no fog. Thet only problem was that there were a lot of people there. I really wish I had brought my dog too. I didn't know there was a section of beach for dogs. She would have loved it. There were a lot of kids with boogie boards. I know my kids would have had a blast, even though they didn't believe they would. Next time I'm going to push them to come. And maybe I'll buy a wetsuit for myself so that I won't be so wimpy about getting in the water. :)

This first picture is of the ocean lifeguard. He had a back board tailing behind his jet ski. He was patrolling the beach all day. It's nice to know he is there, especially since there have been great white shark attacks at this beach in the past.















I saw this little boy trying to drag the seaweed. I guess it was heavier than it looked.















Here is a picture of my husband. I think it was relaxing for him just to listen to the sounds of the waves. I know it relaxed me.
