Flower Clippings.

Several years ago my neighbor came to me and told me that she had been pruning some geraniums in her yard that had become over grown. She handed me a couple of the clippings. I stuck them in the back yard and this is what I now have!! I know it's not rocket science, but it always amazes me that things like this can thrive despite poor growing conditions.

That's why my favorite thing to plant here is drought-resistant plants, especially since I'm not around to make sure they are being watered. I came home to find some new wild plants growing, that were so pretty I left them. Some call them weeds, I call them drought-resistant plants.
