I tried to imbed this video from Youtube, but they have disabled embedding for this particular video. This is a 2009 "Britain's Got Talent" episode where once again they find a hidden talent in an unusual package. I think with a little makeover this woman could sing on Broadway. One thing I like about her is that she is my age. :)

This lady was absolutely fabulous! And the best part was that the audience was making fun of her at first, but she sure shut them up and earned their respect! Fantastic singer, and she seemed genuinely humble.

Bloody fantastic!! I admit that I didn't believe her age (I didn't) but her voice convinced me! What a delightful voice; she sounds like an angel!
The best of this video was to look at the faces of everyone present there lol: they were in shock, awe and shame!
I agree with you: she could sing in musicals...any time!
