Scripture Mastery Games 2

Today we played a game that I called, "Seminarium". I know...sounds like some place you put a dead body. I was actually going for my own version of "Cranium". I've never played Cranium, but from what I read, it is something like this. I had one die (that's the singular of dice for those who are wondering. ;) On the chalkboard I had written these 6 actions:
1. Act it out
2. Give a one word clue
3. Sing a hymn as a clue
4. Draw a picture on the board
5. Make a clue out of playdough
6. Free choice of any of the 5 above.

I had one person come up and roll the die and use the corresponding action to give a clue to the scripture mastery scripture. The first person to guess got to come up and have a turn. The kids really had fun with this! Surprisingly, they didn't even mind singing or using the play dough. I think this would be a fun game for Family Home Evening. Here is a previous post I made with a GREAT recipe for home made playdough.
