Frozen Yogurt

We stopped at an interesting place tonight for frozen yogurt. It's called, "Coco Swirl". It's really an interesting concept. Fat free frozen yogurt with your choice of toppings. You come in, get a cup, and serve yourself. You pay about 40cents an ounce. You buy as little or as much as you want, with as few or as many toppings as you want. My husband and I really enjoyed it, and doubly enjoyed that it's fat free. Help yourself frozen yogurt.....I think this could be the next big thing!

Delirious, as you know, I am from India. Yogurt called curd, dahi, thayir etc in India is very much part of almost every meal for Indians. At home, I personally set yogurt every day from a starter that has been running its course the past almost twenty years. My late mother had taught me how to and I have been doing it the past many years. I recently had to go out of town and my sone for the first time, set it and the result was just as good and he is pleased as punch too! The yogurt that I make is from fat free cow's milk and is famous in our neighourhood for its thickness and taste.

It is a wholesome meal, and can be had with rice or unleavened bread or with just about anything! If you can possibly get a culture to start, you can make it at home and there is nothing quite like the home made variety.

That sounds like a great idea. I love frozen yogurt. I hate going to ice cream places and not being able to finish a normal serving. I like sweets, but not as much as they usually serve so I love that you pay for what you want at this new place. Thanks for sharing. Maybe they will open one in Utah eventually.
