I think I have found a snag in my composting operation. Today I found my dog eating pieces of asparagus and green beans out of it.....

At least she's getting her veggies in. lol
Guilty as sin, you can see it in the eyes.
Oh and as I am sure you are aware - eating things from the compost bin is probably one of the cleaner things that dogs will eat. And then they want to lick your face????
All I can say for sure is that it won't hurt the compost pile to lose those ingredients and it for sure won't hurt the dog. SOOOOO...what's the snag?
The snag is that I'm afraid she is going to eat ALL of the food out of my compost pile! :)
So what? That is a minor part of what you have composting and it won't hurt the dog.
