Prop 8 Perks

We went to wave signs for Prop 8 again today. Here are some of the wonderful perks we got:
1. So many people told us we are number one by holding up their finger. Curious thing that they all used the middle finger.

2. One car was so happy to see us that they threw us pizza. Too bad we didn't know they were throwing it, we might have caught it.

3. One girl was so kind, she decided to show us her pretty pink underwear! How nice of her to share! She pulled down her pants and stuck her behind out the window. I had an insane urge to teach her proper "mooning" techniques.

Seriously though, one man drove by and shouted, "You guys are great! If I had a sign, I'd come join you!" We said, "Come on! We have signs for you!" He said he would come back, but I think the rain deterred him. We got SOAKED.

The one thing that really warmed my heart was when one man, who lived down the street from where we were demonstrating, pulled the Yes on 8 sign up from his yard and brought it and came and helped us demonstrate. That is what America is all about.
