BYU Gives Light to Ghana

I read this story in the BYU Alumni magazine today. I think this is one of the greatest ideas ever! Basically, BYU engineering students built a merry go round on a school ground in Ghana. It is hooked up to a generator, and when the kids play on the merry go round, they generate electricity for their school! I like that not only does it give them power, and gives them a toy to play with, but that it helps them understand how generators work. Here is another link that also has video. THIS is how we give a man a fish so he can eat for a lifetime!

The story about the loaves and fishes is in teh Bible to let you know that a very little fish goes a long long long ways.
