Biker

Several years ago my husband bought a motorcycle. It is an older bike, about 20 something years old. It is a Yamaha Virago. He has ridden it off and on over the past few years, but not on a regular basis. Well, this weekend he decided he would like to buy a better bike and drive it out to Utah on our vacation this coming week. He looked on Craig's list and found a bike for sale at a local car dealership. Someone had traded it in on a new car. The dealership didn't really know much about it, or how much it was worth. My husband went there first thing this morning and decided to test drive it. It is a 2003 Yamaha Star. It only has about 2000 miles on it. He decided to buy it. We will see how it goes driving out to Utah....I'm skeptical about his ability to drive that far on a motorcycle in one day, but we will see. I don't have a motorcycle license, so I can't help him. I'm driving the car with the kids. Two thoughts go through my mind about this. One: This is a pretty inexpensive mid-life crisis. ;) and Two: If he doesn't like it, he can always sell it and probably make a profit. Just as he was paying for it, the sales lady told him that it had belonged to two lesbian ladies. In our religion we often have a priesthood holder pray to bless our new homes. I sort of wished we could do that for the bike. Wish us luck..this will be a long trip.

That looks fun! We've talked about getting one. All of my bro-in-laws have one. They look like a blast.
