Concert

Tonight was my youngest son's band concert. At the last one, we noticed that the teacher was playing the trombone part because she didn't have a student trombonist to play it. In preparation for this one, my son told her that his Dad plays the trombone. She asked if he would be willing to play his trombone with the students. He agreed, so played with the kids tonight. After hearing them play, I can see why she wanted his help. There were a few trombone parts that were really important to the songs, and some were even solos. It was fun to see my son and husband playing in the same band. They also practiced together ahead of time for it. It was nice to hear them playing music together.
