The Race Is Not to the Swiftest
As my husband and I were waiting in line at Costco to purchase a few things, I realized I had forgotten to pick up something I needed. I could see there were still a couple of people in line ahead of us, so told my husband I would hurry and go get the item. As I started walking quickly to the back of the store, I began to remember that one of the people in line only had one item to purchase, so I decided I better really hurry. I started to slowly run to the back of the store. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye I saw another person also running to quickly get an item. As he passed me, he turned his head and said, "I'm winning."
