Flown the Nest

Yesterday I took this picture of the baby doves. They have really grown quickly. This morning I went outside to go to church and found the nest empty. I looked around and saw one of them not far away walking on the ground. I hate the fledgling stage. They stay on the ground for a few days while they learn how to fly. They are easy targets for cats and dogs. I hope these two survive. Dang, I'm having empty nest syndrome.
