Some days I feel really motivated to finish projects, and some days I don't. But I was able to throw together a few things that I want to give away as gifts to the children of my husband's co-worker. I made one of these before, but I gave it away before taking a picture. I got this idea off of Pinterest. But now I'm thinking that I should have made it different. Instead of sewing the doll on to the book, I should have made her so that she could be taken off and played with. I'll do that next time. I made the doll for the daughter, and the finger puppets for the son. I made this by sewing two pot holders together. The pocket on the right is to hold the clothes. I decided to not put any snaps or velcro on the clothes because the felt kind of sticks to other felt. I think I might make a couple more finger puppets before I give them these.

Nice, very nice.
Back when I was a kid in Colorado I had some friends into puppets and we did puppet shows. I hadn't thought about that stuff in years until this so thanks for that D. My fave shows starred Wild Bill Hiccup and Annie Egg Yolk - then there were the marathon jacks games with SallyAnn Ransdell. Oh to be 8 again.
Cute!
Cute ideas! They will love them.
