We were kind of tired when we came home tonight after choir practice, so we decided to just make some soup and cheese sandwiches for dinner. I heated up a can of condensed tomato soup, and a can of Italian meat ball/vegetable soup (that you don't add water to). I made about 5 cheese sandwiches, and cut up a whole cantelope to eat with it. We also had a loaf of french bread that we cut a few slices from. Just as we were sitting down to eat, I decided to run upstairs for just a minute. I told my husband and two boys to start without me. I don't think more than 5 minutes passed. When I came downstairs, all the food was gone! lol The soup was gone. The sandwiches were gone. The entire cantalope was gone. 5 minutes.... lol There still was some of the loaf of bread. lol
In case you are worried, I really didn't feel like eating that anyway. When I went on vacation, and left my son alone, I had bought a few frozen dinners. He didn't want to eat them, so I heated one up for my dinner. Wow...they always say that if you snooze you lose. I guess that means even if you only snooze for 5 minutes! lol

I hear ya! I had two boys that could put it away like that too!
That brought me back to my childhood days with my four brothers. If you blinked the food was gone! LOL. I am glad you found something simple to make for yourself.
