I found this video through a blog introduced to me by Sandy. I breastfed all my kids for about a year, and I felt that was important. But I have to wonder about the psychological effect of this on older kids.

A little bizarre...I truly can't believe this is that beneficial to this little girl. I would worry about lesbian tendancies if nothing else. But I think it's kind of like thumb-sucking, or carrying around a security blanket - after a certain age you encourage your children to let their "baby" things go and grow up.
My word verification is "uncrop". This mother needs to "uncrop" her little girl from breastfeeding.
This is gross---I don't believe it shoudl go past two at the very longest---
A few years back my partner and I met a woman who breastfed her children until they were at least seven years old.
I found the whole thing very strange and I have to say it made me wonder whose needs were really being met by this arrangement.
As someone who has been involved in the system which protects children it made me feel very uneasy and left me wondering if it bordered on being emotionally abusive.
