Well, if I look at it in a karmic point of view...this thought is spot on. Not forgiving demands too much energy and focus upon on person/group of persons; therefore it imprisons you (because you do not move forward) and by doing so, you are ensuring a new cycle of rebirth for yourself. By forgiving you are free to invest energy, time and focus on yourself and on those you love and love you back...thus, contributing to burning off karma.
Max, from my point of view, when we have anger and resentment toward someone, and are unable to forgive, we are filled with a poison that hurts us more than it hurts the other person. We spend our life hating, and feeling anger. It literally eats us up on the inside. Truly, those who forgive are free, and are released from that kind of poison filled life. Thanks for your perspective! :)

Yes, and the freedom is wonderful!
Good one D. I have read many quotes on forgiveness, but this one is the best.
Blessings to you ~ Maxi
