Fresh Duck

I suggest you watch this in full screen mode.  Just click the icon on the lower right.  This is a video my daughter took while we were driving down the street.  I think it's self-explanatory.  We were laughing in disbelief, but we were all horrified.  But I heard an interesting comment today.  Someone said, "In America we eat meat.  In China they eat animals."  It's really true.  In China they serve every body part, and there is no dispute about which animal you are eating.  In America we aren't even sure which body part we are eating, and it doesn't look like it was ever something living.  The Chinese are closer to subsistance living.

I am still hoping that the nearby Chinese take a liking to the Canadian Geese in the park.

Hi D,

It was funny indeed.
The Chinese way of eating is similar to ours, in Europe: we know which parts of the animal we are eating.

The Chinese are pragmatic and quite cool...nothing seems to shock them and I like that.

Cheers

lol Looney! Actually, when we were living in Provo, the chinese there would steal duck eggs from the bushes around the pond. And they would fish for carp. :D
