Homecoming

Missionary number one home safe and sound! My youngest son climbed the stairs so that he could be the first to greet him. :) 9 more days till missionary number 2 comes home!
This son returned from El Salvador. His english has a little bit of a spanish accent, especially when he has been speaking spanish to someone. His grandfather is spanish speaking, so he had fun catching up with him in his own language. He is still having a little bit of reverse culture shock. He keeps saying how rich we all are. He also cannot believe the advance in technology in the past two years! I think it will take awhile for him to fully adjust, but he seems happy to be home and to be able to eat the food here again. We are very happy to have him home for awhile until he heads back to college. :)

That first moment when you see the offspring arrive home safely, really makes the heart sing!

I'm glad he is home safe and wish him well in whatever he decides to pursue next. I'm praying for #2 to arrive home safely, too.
