New Year's Resolution: 2012

This year I only have one new year resolution. I'm sure that I could come up with a whole list of things I should be doing, but I find that it's difficult for me to focus on more than one thing at a time. This resolution really will take one year to complete. I have vowed to do a better job of remembering birthdays. I used to send out cards to all my nieces and nephews, and in-laws, as well as my brothers, sisters, parents etc. But through the years I've been so busy and distracted with other things that I have let most of those slide, and have even slipped on sending cards to my brothers and sisters in-law. This year I addressed a card to one of my brothers, then never found my address book to write the address on it. Time slipped by, and I never sent it. Then it was time for the next brother's birthday, and the same thing happened! Then my third brother's birthday came and went with the same result. I think that's the only time I have missed sending them a card for their birthday. So this year I vow to do better, and to include my brothers and sisters in law. I probably won't push it and include nieces and nephews, but if I can just get these others sent I will feel like I've accomplished something.
What's your resolution?

Many new year days ago, I made a new year resolution, not to make any new year resolution and I have resolutely kept that resolution.

My only resolution in life is to find laughter every day. Far better than any box of pills!

Ramana, on the face of it, it appears that setting no resolutions is really the way to go. But I believe that if we don't set any goals for ourselves, then we don't progress! :)

I picked one of the "one word" goals, one that I really need to work on. Unfortunately I don't want to tell people what it is. :0+

I need to work on Gratitude. So I think that will be my goal this year.
Happy 2012.

Happy New Year, D!

I have not made any New Year's Resolution this year...I am just going with the flow in 2012 and see where it will lead me.

But I can related with your resolution though...

Wishing you all the best life can offer, I leave you...Cheers
