Bad Dreams

I had a bad dream last night. I wouldn't call it a nightmare, but it was stressful. I already know the interpretation, because when I woke up, I knew exactly what it meant. But let me tell you about it.

I dreamed that I was going about doing chores around the house, and that I decided to go in to the basement. (not that we have one...but I digress... lol) When I got down there, I found a lot of junk stored, and then I saw that I had a whole bunch of fish aquariums. It suddenly hit me that I hadn't been down there in a LONG time! I knew it had been at least a year, and I wondered how they had survived that long! Some of the tanks were evaporating, so I combined those fish with other tanks. I wasn't even sure what they had been eating all that time. I couldn't believe I would go that long without caring for them!

At this point I woke up and started worrying about some of the women in our congregation, over whom I have responsibility. There are a LOT of women in our Ward with health problems, and personal problems. I have been feeling like some have been neglected. I called one to check on her, but she never answered the phone. I called a couple of times today. I think she was at work. Then I called the "visiting teachers" of the other woman. They visit her monthly and check in on her. They said she is doing fine. Whew....at least one of them is okay. I still have to get in touch with the first one.

I had the church position for almost 4 years once before, but we never had this magnitude of problems. I don't know if it's just demographics, or an unlucky fluke, but there are a lot of people with health problems and such. Luckily, I can rely on the visiting teachers to help take care of them. Now if I could just get the visiting teachers to have the dreams for me too!
