I'm so excited that BYU television has been airing "Anne of Green Gables"! Long ago, I recorded this series when PBS showed it. When we were living in China, I let a friend of mine borrow the videos. She is from Canada, and married a mainland chinese man, so lived in China permanently. I think watching the videos made her feel less homesick. Hmmm...or maybe more homesick, but either way, she enjoyed them so much that I didn't ask for them back when I left. I might just have to purchase the set some day.

I love Anne of Green Gables. They are some of my favorite books.
Those books were the favorite books of my mother-in-law, so we bought this set of movies for her, and she had all of her friends come watch them with her. :0)
