Hair Wars

A couple of years ago my husband and I attended his company Christmas party. They had a photographer, and took pictures of each guest. We each received a nice 5x7 copy of it. I thought it was a nice picture. I mean there is only so much you can do with what you have, right? :) Here is that picture.

This year we went to the Christmas party again, and they took another picture. This picture is so bad that I'm not sharing it with you. In it, my hair looks STUPID!! My husband looks 100 pounds heavier than he is. It is horrible. And every time I look at this picture, I want to shave my head!! I think it's time for a hairstyle change.

In the past I told my beautician how to cut my hair, but she convinced me that I needed to leave the sides long enough to tuck behind my ears because that is "the style". So I have listened to her, even though I have always disliked that. Now I'm ready to find a new style, but I just can't make up my mind.

I have been doing some online research in to hair styles and I got a lot of advice. I have a square face, so bobs don't really work for me. They just make my face look more square. I can't go too short because I would look "butch". I found a site that lets you try on celebrity hair styles. What I learned from this is that most celebrities don't have that great of hair styles. lol Here are a few for you to consider. Among them are hairstyles of Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Farrah Fawcett, and even Hillary Clinton. In the end, I'll probably go in and have her cut it just the way she always has, just because it may just be the lesser of many evils. See for yourself:

Personally, I think you should just dye the front part of your hair like in some of these pictures. :0P

I really like the 2nd one to the bottom. Of course I've always liked the sportier short looks. But I think that one looks particularly good on you.
