Costumes

For the school Halloween celebration today, my 12 year old decided he would dress as a "secret agent". I kept trying to get him to add an element to his costume that would look "spy-ish", but he had very definite ideas and wouldn't change his mind. He put on a white shirt with a black bow tie, and a suit. He also wore a big watch. That was it. He insisted on slicking his hair to the side in a "James Bond" fashion. I have to admit, that when he was done, he did look like a James Bond. But that was probably because I knew what look he was going for.

When he came home from school I asked how things went with the costume. He said, "Some of the black kids asked if I was a Pimp". :S We definitely need to add an element to his costume.....

(I didn't get a picture this morning. I'll try to get one tomorrow night when we go to the trunk or treat)

Delirious, children can be very perceptive. I can readily understand why they compared your son's costume to those glorious human beings! I have come across some with similar attire in Europe! Lest you go off on a tangent, I was not so inclined!

Snikey!! Ok, that was too funny. I agree, there may be a missing element or two.

D - that is very funny! I don't know if you have ever read Readers Digest but that reminds me of the kind of story they used to publish as "life is like that".
