Additional Information about Elliott

I got another email from my friend Carol. She forwarded to me an email that she sent to the government agency in charge of providing care to the disabled. Evidently, their attitude is that if there is someone in the home to care for him, then she doesn't need help. But actually, Carol has sustained several back injuries over the years of caring for him, and is now at the point that she can no longer lift him. That means she can't bathe him. The agency rules state that he is entitled to help, even if family members do care for him, but for some reason they have chosen to ignore their own rules. When the neglect by the provided care givers was brought before a judge, he ruled in the agency's favor without ordering an investigation.

I suggested that maybe the media should be involved. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

D,

Yes! The media should be involved, that way they could do a more positive job (more than some of it does)!

Cheers
