Growing Season

Inklings post about her garden made me want to show an update of mine. The first picture is of my grow box. The next is a couple of containers that I planted. I also have two squash planted by my house, but couldn't get a good picture.

The next picture is of some geraniums I planted many years ago. My neighbor was pruning her's, and asked if I wanted a cutting. I threw a couple of cuttings in the ground and they took over!

The next picture is of the jasmine that is growing on the fence in my side yard. It really smells good. :)

The last picture is proof of my dog's good nature. The kids decided to make her wear the "googly eyes" they bought at the dollar store. :)

I have a question for you. I have a potted geranium by my kitchen window and I've had it for almost a year. Last year I was a little too agressive and greedy for more flowers and accidently lopped them off completely and it hasn't flowered since. Is there still hope for it to flower again someday? It's still a pretty plant and it's the first one I've been able to keep alive and healthy for so long!

Geraniums are pretty hardy. You could try feeding it some fertilizer, but I bet with time it will bloom on it's own. Mine pretty much really only have one good bloom during the year. But you can ignore them and they still survive...that's why I like them. :)
