Fed Up

Sometimes, in my effort to be Christlike, I allow too much abuse. This anti-Mormon guy has continued to persist in attacking me on my religion blog. He said that we say he doesn't know what he's talking about, but we never actually discuss his errors. So I thought maybe he was right, so I decided to just mention one point. He answered with 50 more points to argue. I politely answered his questions. He replied with more attacks. Unfortunately, he really doesn't know what he's talking about, even though he throws out quotes by church leaders. How can he even begin to understand these more difficult to understand subjects when he can't even accept the basics. He has decided to eat meat before milk, and he is choking on it.

He seriously feels he is not in the wrong, and that he is doing God's work in attacking us. If that is the case, then why do I feel such contention and anger coming from him? I have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost, and I can discern evil intentions from righteous ones. He is decieved if he thinks his are righteous. He just brings a bad feeling with every word he says. And it's not because he disagrees. Looney and I don't always agree, but Looney is never disrespectful, and never lashes out in anger. He is a godly man, and that is discernable by everyone who reads what he writes. But this man is just the opposite. What I feel from him is caustic anger towards our religion. He thinks he is justified, but he doesn't even really understand our beliefs, despite his studies. He feels it is his duty to leave a negative comment about every post I make.

So today I decided I had enough. I tried to explain that I'm just not interested in contention, and why. He can't accept that, and denies it is contention because deep down he really wants to keep arguing. So I have decided to delete his negative comments in the future. As I told him, he has hi-jacked my blog long enough. I'm tired of his anti-mormon propaganda. And I'm tired of the spirit of contention that he brings to my blog. Contention is not from God, it is from the devil. That alone is reason enough to put on the brakes.

I'm glad you did, like I said it's your blog and you shouldn't let him ruin it for you. That's why I'm picky and mine is private ;P
