April Fool's In Advance

So for my lesson for DUP today I taught about blacksmithing. My neighbor lent me a horse shoe, and I took some other iron things to show. When I taught, I laid the horseshoe on the floor. After the lesson, when I picked it up, I saw it left an imprint in the carpet. This got me thinking about April fool's day. I was thinking I could take it and make horse shoe prints in the carpet, and vaccuum away my own footprints, just leaving the horseshoe ones. But then I was thinking that the carpet wouldn't lay down very long. I was talking to my neighbor and we were thinking we could use some mud to make horseshoe tracks on the driveway, and lead them up to the front door, so that people would think a horse went in our house. Then I got thinking about how you could take your cat and make cat footprints up the side of the house (holding the cat on a ladder). Okay, that would probably range on abusive. lol But now my brain is stuck in this horseshoe mode and I"m trying to figure out how to use it for April fool's day. lol Give me your ideas! :D

One thought I had was put the horseshoe in mud and then carefully place in on the back of a pair of your pants, or shirt. Then wear it around the house waiting for someone to say something. When they ask say: What horse? Maybe that's lame. I'll keep thinking. Maybe the muddy horse shoe track could keep appearing all day - on the tile in the front room, on the bathroom mirror, etc.

D - you have a very surreal train of thought sometimes - I love it. I'll put my thinking cat on and see if I can come up with something truly strange for you as an April Fools Footprint stunt.

Just put it on a chain around your neck and pretend it's not there!
