Astoria Hotel

The hotel we stayed at in Astoria used to be a fish cannery. There were huge drying racks on pilons next to the building. The drying racks are still there, although falling down. I was out in the morning taking pictures and saw this raccoon living on top of the drying racks. Then later, as we were eating breakfast, we saw that there was a baby with it. Alas, I didn't have my camera with me then. This hotel was very nice with a lot of charm. (My husband was able to negotiate a good price for us) These are the cars they use to pick people up from the airport, or give rides. I almost felt like I had stepped back in time!

Interesting place, nice pictures. I LOVE classic cars, so it was fun to see that, too.
