they really were - i can see some of my nieces and nephews in Nene's young face :)
Inklings doesn't look so cute..even then the camera must have hated her. :0) We had those pistures taken as a surprise for Dad for Valentine's day, which is the reason for the red heart dresses. I remember having them taken.
