American Revolution Costume

Okay, first ignore that his pants are wrinkled. My son's class put on a presentation about the American Revolution. I couldn't attend because of the funeral, but I was told that a group came that travels around to different schools doing this presentation with the kids. We only threw this costume together on the spur of the moment, but I think it turned out pretty good. I couldn't find any vest in the house except one of mine that has big sunflowers all over it. So I turned it inside out and pinned it closed for him. The hat was a pirate hat from our neighbor's halloween costume. I had a doily laying around that I pinned on for the ruffle. I thought he made a pretty good Paul Revere. :)
