My Clock Sprung Forward, But My Body Lagged Behind

I am having a hard time adjusting to Daylight Savings time. I get up at 5:30 to get ready for seminary, and it stills feels like 4:30 to me. I've been dragging around through the day trying to accomplish something on no energy. Yesterday I took a nap, but then I just felt tired AND groggy all day. I talked to a doctor once about jet lag, and altitude, and he said that within like 48 hours you are adjusted to the new time or altitude. Maybe I just don't get enough sleep even if we had kept the old time. It's really hard to......zzzzzzz.....oh...excuse me...nodded off there for a second...

We've had a hard time adjusting to Daylight Savings this year as well. My visiting teachers and I decided it's a sad part of aging!
However, I think for our family the main reason is three VERY late nights in a row PLUS the lost hour.

(And I'm feeling a touch envious that early morning seminary is a 5:30 alarm. Mine is 4:40!)

you and me both, d. i'm still having a rough time being awake in the morning... it's funny because when i went to italy, i came back with zero jet lag after an 8 hour difference, but 1 measly hour throws me for such a loop.

I think it is just as hard for 2-year-olds. Though, this time change means mine is waking up an hour later, at 7 instead of 6. What a blessing.

We don't go to Daylight Savings Time until the end of March.

Oh, and my Seminary day started at 4am.
