You may have received this email. When I received it, I couldn't help but wonder myself why I hadn't heard of this monument before. Why was this not national news? Why was this not attended with a press conference with our president? Is it just me? Had you heard of this monument before?
"Monument to the struggle against world terrorism, artist Zurab Tesereteii" commonly known as the "Tear Drop". It was made as a memorial to the victims of the 9/11 attack.

I've never heard of it either. Did you try googling it to see if our president did attend and maybe the press just didn't cover it? Remember he wasn't too popular with the press the past few years and they would only cover him if he did something wrong, not right.

i hadn't heard of it either, i think it's nice that russia would send us a memorial, i like that its a tear drop too, very moving.
