CELEBRATE!

A friend introduced me to a website that tells you all of the holidays and observances each month. For example, today, November 4th is King Tut day. I didn't want you to waste the whole day not thinking about King Tut. In fact, I think you should atleast once, even if it is in the privacy of your own closet, "dance like an egyptian" today. This picture was released today of what they think he looked like.


















November 11th is Bonza Bottler day. I have no idea where they came up with this name, but it is the day when the day and month are the same number. Not sure what they call it when the year is the same too, like July 7, 07.

"Sinkie day" is the day after Thanksgiving. It is the day you can stand over the sink gorging yourself without having to even set the table. Wow, they only have one day for that?

I decided since the powers that be can creatively, albeit randomly come up with holidays, that I should be able to also. Here are my new list of holidays that I think we should celebrate.

December 1 --celebrate "Send Delirious $10" day.

I figured $10 was a nice conservative number, anyone can afford that. It goes to a good cause, I assure you.

November 5th (yes, that's tomorrow, so I hope you read my blog soon and don't miss out.) celebrate "Stay in your pajamas all day" day.
I know what you are thinking, "we only get to do this one day? But..but..but...I do it several days each week!" Well, I'm giving you one day to not feel guilty about it.

November 1-30th... celebrate "Eat all your kid's trick or treat candy" month. I gave you a month for this, didn't want anyone ending up in a diabetic coma.

And finally, but perhaps most importantly, I dub every day "Read Delirious' blog" day. Hey, as long as I'm making up holidays, I can pick whatever I like, right? :P
