May Day
May Day is the first day of May. When I was a child, my mother had me make paper cones and fill them with flowers. Then she told me to hang the cone on someone's doorknob, ring the doorbell, and hurry away. May day was a day to give flowers. I can't give each of you flowers, but I am giving you a montage of flowers that are blooming in my yard today. Happy May Day! (Click on the picture to see it bigger)

I loved May Day as a young girl, our elementary school made a big deal about it, and we all wore flowers in our hair on May Day. :)
I forgot May Day this year... :(
