Let's Hold Hands and Go Bowling

I was talking to some friends recently about how my husband and I seem to always buy red bowls. We have about 10 fairly good sized red ceramic and melamine bowls, as well as some small red bowls that I think are actually tea cups. We use them for dipping sauces for Chinese food. My husband has a thing for bowls, and can't seem to come out of a home store without buying one. He has branched out lately and has bought a few white and blue bowls too, but mostly he buys red. When I mentioned this to my friends, one friend said they always buy blue bowls. I'm just curious....is it just us that have a thing for bowls, or do any of you buy bowls too, and if so, what color or kind?

Well, I may not have an obbsession about buying bowls, but we all have something we have to buy when we see them. Frankly if I had the money I'd have two hundred chess boards by now. But playing cards will do for now. All the bowls we have in the house are blue. I think because ever time we get a new set we try and match the color of the last one. Probaly the same thing happened to you guys.

I like colorful bowls, too. They are fun. Go to www.rainbowgate.com
They are pricey but they are so cute

I love to have deep bowls for cereal and really big bowls for salads... :)

I think everyone has a fetish. I always buy notebooks and pens even if I don't need them.

Yeah, my husband does like the bowls he describes above, so I have several bowls that don't match anything else in my kitchen. (He likes to pick them up at thrift stores.)
