I was telling my son tonight that I have always wanted to name my house. He never watched "Bonanza", so didn't know about the Ponderosa. He's never seen "Gone With the Wind" so doesn't know about Tara. I'm not quite sure he understands why his goofy old Mom wants to name her house.
I actually thought for a long time about what I would name our current house. I'm not sure if I'm just not imaginative enough, or if I just need a different setting, but I didn't come up with a name. I've decided I need a house with some land. That would make it feel more like it needed a name. It's such a shame though, we've lived in this house for almost 11 years. It really needs a name by now. Any suggestions?

my grandfather's cottage was named "thistle dew" ... pronounced "this'll do" lol.
