Divide them up in groups of 2 or 3 and give them questions to answer or scripture blocs to tell about and explain. I always told them to not let anyone in their group be lazy and spread the work so everyone had to help. That is also why I liked to do it in groups of 2, 3 at the most. I was always amazed at their answers and the depths of their understanding. They also loved doing it, because they are teenagers, and think they know it all, and love being able to get up and talk in front of the others.Nenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13847303868378288229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27352415.post-43477461386901817972008-12-15T04:19:00.000-08:002008-12-15T04:19:00.000-08:00Why don't you have some sort of review activity in...Why don't you have some sort of review activity in seminary? And make the kids do the preparation! Our Primary chorister is always drawing pathways on the chalkboard. The kids start as a group at the beginning, and the object is to make it to the end. Pretty simple. She determines the number of squares they move by how well they sing. You could adapt that by assigning scripture blocks to pairs of students. Have them come up with questions. Put all the questions in a bowl. Draw one, answer it, if it's correct, roll a die and progress along your chalkboard path. You could do teams or not. The more questions you have, the more class time is used! Just a thought. (We want you to enjoy the Christmas season!)Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09624351403333754381noreply@blogger.com
