My Baby is a Teenager

Well, my youngest child turned 13 this week and is now an official teenager! It just so happened that the other day he was listening to some loud teenager music, and was yelling and singing to it, and blew out his voice. So for several days, whenever he did talk, his voice sounded a lot lower. It kind of added to the teenager effect. :) He's growing before my very eyes too. His feet are already bigger than his Dad's. I remember when I was young, my mother used to jokingly push down on my head to try to stop me from growing. It didn't work, I out grew her. :) Last night we had the missionaries over for dinner. For dessert we had brownies and ice cream. We asked if they wanted seconds, and they and my two boys all wanted seconds. I told them that the growing boys could have seconds, but not the growing parents. Because my husband and I are going through a growth spurt, but ours is sideways. But my youngest son will probably end up being my tallest one. Waaa.... my baby isn't a baby anymore! :)

Yes, that is the heart breaking part of parenting. When they start to grow up. My wee son is taller than I am and he wears shoes two sizes larger than mine. Waa! Me too.

Happy 13th to the young man!

My baby turned 33 earlier this month. It has to be a mistake, I cannot have slept all that time. She now assumes the mother role when she comes home or I go to visit her. We have grown to be best friends as well as Mother and daughter. Life is good.

I was just talking to my husband the other day and wondering how much older Gilbert Girl's daughter was than your son. I forgot what month his birthday was. Tell him Happy birthday!
